Fountain ist eine Zusammenarbeit der Stadtbiliothek Luisenbad mit dem Projektraum Betakontext. Sie zeigt 13 zeitgenössische künstlerische Positionen die sich den historischen und architektonischen Raum rund um das ehemalige Kurbad zum Anlass einer Ausstellung nehmen. Bibliothek und Lesegarten werden mit skulpturalen, fotografischen, malerischen und konzeptuellen Eingriffen bespielt.

Is my head a hotel? ist ein Ausstellungsprojekt initiiert durch eine Gruppe von KünstlerInnen aus Wien und Berlin. Thematisch beschäftigt sich der Austausch mit den Bedingungen und Möglichkeiten, die ein Standortwechsel mit sich bringt, den Anforderungen einer flexiblen Gesellschaft sowie deren Auswirkungen auf Kunstschaffende. Die Kooperation besteht aus einer Erarbeitung von ortsbezogenen Arbeiten, die gemeinsam im Rahmen eines Kunstraums kuratorisch organisiert werden. Neue künstlerische Arbeiten, konzeptuelle Entscheidungen, Aufbau und Abbau werden in Zusammenarbeit der beteiligten Künstler*Innen vor Ort geschehen und dienen einem Austausch der Wiener und Künstler*innen mit Künstler*innen aus Berlin.

Die Ausstellungsreihe fand bisher in Kooperation mit den Ausstellungsräumen Atelierhaus Mikky Burg (Dresden), Theatre Impermanent (Leipzig), dem Verein für interkulturelle Zusammenarbeit Synkoop (Wien) und dem Projektraum Lotte (Stuttgart) statt und wird im Jahr 2016 weitergeführt.

Collecting is a phenomenon celebrated not only by "official" collectors, but also by producers, artists and by nearly everyone. Who doesn't know the moment to stumble over something and to have that instant feeling that this specific object could be important to something coming up in the future? taking it home and storing it for the actual case of "the right moment". Especially in a studio things can become an important part to fill the surrounding of the actual production. But sometimes they are becoming a source of a constant state of undecidednes. In some special moments this turns into something called "inspiration". THE MUSEUM OF UNSOLVED THINGS is a display for this kind of objects. It celebrates this preliminary moment, in which a special kind of potential can be kept inherent to the object in its not yet defined state.
